Math School offers after-school programs in the evenings/weekends for children from 4th std. to 8th std. from all boards.
Based on reasearch and experience, our course is designed to focus on these 4 core areas where your child needs to develop skills to achieve mastery in Math.

Develop understanding of Math concepts
Today, concepts and formulas are memorized which leads to inability in applying those formulas in solving complex Math problems. We address this by creatively teaching Math concepts, making it easier for the mind to retain them. Later on the child builds on these concepts and develop reasoning skills to solve complex problems.

Use hands-on materials for knowledge retention

Research indicates that 75% of knowledge can be retained when we do something compared to just listening to lectures. Our experience confirms it. Our hands-on approach to solving problems combined with a dose of fun, keeps the subject approachable, enjoyable and helps in knowledge retention.

Promote critical thinking

As Wiki puts it "Critical thinking clarifies goals, examines assumptions, discerns hidden values, evaluates evidence, accomplishes actions, and assesses conclusions". This critical thinking is what helps every child step into adulthood with real confidence and helps differentiating your child from the rest.
It's easy to follow instructions and execute problems like a parrot, but this leads to lack of analytical thinking, which is a major set-back for the child when they enter adult life.
We work on changing this habit, developing critical thinking skills and seeding the right way of thinking to solve problems.

Solve real world problems

Word problems help your child relate Math to the real world. Right after developing understanding of Math concepts, if the child is challenged with the appropriate and complex word problems, we've seen them rise up to the challenge.
